HUNDREDS of classic cars will be on display at a special event in Yorkshire next month.
On Sunday, June 12, the vehicles will be displayed at Ripon Racecourse for the 23rd Ripon Classic Car and Bike Show.
The Great British Motor Shows will showcase the magnificent machines to delighted audiences, with the event featuring compact kit cars, classic Austin 7s, motorbikes, vans, classic commercials, 4x4s, ex-military vehicles and modern supercars.
Club stands include North East Volkswagen Audio Group, Corvette Club and Mercedes SLK Club.
Event organizer Steve Bishop said: “It’s a double celebration this year as everyone is thrilled to have the show back after two years in the garage.
“Like the Queen, we celebrate heritage and longevity, and just like her racehorses, we also have truly thoroughbred power under starter’s orders!”
Located just north of Harrogate and only five miles from the A1M, the racecourse has excellent road, rail and bus connections.
It also offers free parking, plenty of visitor amenities, and plenty of refreshment stops.
Sponsored by Autoserve, the event runs from 10am to 4pm, with entry priced at just £8.50 per adult and £3 for children. Dogs on a leash are also welcome.
